Refund Policy

Effective Date: 1 April 2026

1. Overview

5SEC provides professional styling and wardrobe management services that involve significant professional time, proprietary analysis, and personalised deliverables. Our refund policy reflects the nature of these services.

We are committed to fairness. If you have a concern about a charge, contact us at [email protected] before initiating a dispute with your payment provider.

2. 5SEC Assessment — $79

The $79 5SEC Assessment fee is non-refundable once submitted.

The assessment fee covers the cost of the evaluation process: your questionnaire, photo analysis, body measurement review, and the generation of your personalised Presence Profile by Professor Nedo Bellucci. This work begins immediately upon submission.

If you submit payment but do not complete the assessment questionnaire within 30 days, you may request a refund by contacting us at [email protected]. Refunds in this circumstance are at our discretion.

3. Service Refunds

We offer pro-rated refunds for unused service months under the following conditions:

  • You must provide at least 30 days' written notice of cancellation before your desired end date.
  • Refunds are calculated based on unused full months remaining after the notice period.
  • A deduction of $75 per 1-on-1 consultation session redeemed during the service period applies to all tiers.
  • The $79 assessment fee is not included in any refund calculation.

Refund Calculation Formula

Refund = (Unused full months ÷ 12) × Annual fee − ($75 × Sessions redeemed)

Example: Presence System ($348/yr), cancel after 4 months with 8 months remaining, 1 session redeemed:
(8 ÷ 12) × $348 − $75 = $232 − $75 = $157 refunded

No refund is issued if the cancellation request is made within 30 days of the original purchase date and the onboarding session has been completed, as the core service has been delivered.

4. Onboarding Call — $75

The one-time $75 onboarding call is non-refundable once the session has taken place. This session is the foundation of your wardrobe system and represents direct professional time with a 5SEC stylist.

If you have paid for the onboarding call but have not yet scheduled or attended the session, contact us at [email protected] to discuss your options.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Name]"
  2. Include your account email address and the reason for your request.
  3. We will respond within 3 business days to confirm eligibility and the refund amount.
  4. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of confirmation.

6. Disputes & Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Most concerns can be resolved directly and quickly. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension pending investigation.
